Description
The New-Line R model is a main radiator and is therefore positioned to the left of the driver, on the opposite side of the engine side of a kart. The R is connected directly to the engine and, like any radiator, has the task of lowering the temperature of the boiling water coming out of the engine as much as possible. The process is simple: the water exits the engine, passes through the radiator grilles where it cools down by the action of the air, and once cooled, it re-enters the engine. The R is the first radiator to come out of the New-Line workshop (year 1998) and is consequently the first to have been offered on the market. This radiator is the thinnest (20 cm) among the so-called "main" radiators in the New-Line range and this feature makes it perfect for areas where hot days during the year are very limited. The radiator consists of two tanks, one upper and one front, and has an aluminum cap at the top to let water enter the circuit. The R can also be mounted by adding an Additional model or a Hobby. It can be used in all categories, but it is especially recommended for amateurs and the KF2-3. The radiator is also available, on request, in the chrome-plated version with hand polishing.
