Description
The New-Line Big model is a main radiator and is therefore positioned to the left of the driver, on the opposite side of the engine side of a kart. The Big radiator is connected directly to the engine and, like any radiator, has the task of lowering the temperature of the boiling water coming out of the engine as much as possible. The process is simple: the water exits the engine, passes through the radiator grilles where it cools down by the action of the air, and once cooled, it re-enters the engine. The Big model, despite being more recently built (2005), is the "big brother" of the radiators in the New-Line range. It was born as an evolution of the RS model, but compared to its predecessor it was made with the aim of satisfying kart drivers who race in the summer months and in warmer areas. The 29 cm width of the radiator, in fact, allows for a greater surface area of the grille and, consequently, greater cooling efficiency to counteract, precisely, the most torrid heat. Initially dedicated only to the shifter categories (when it was born there were 100cc engines that did not have temperature problems), today the Big is a perfect radiator for all categories of karting, but whose use is recommended only for the summer. The radiator is also available, on request, in the chrome-plated version with hand polishing.
